2022 MBBS, dentistry graduates certificates ready for collection, says UI
The University of Ibadan at the weekend said the certificates for the 2022 graduates of Medicine and Surgery and Dentistry are now ready for collection.
The management disclosed this through the registrar and secretary to the council, Ganiyu Saliu in a statement.
He said the announcement became imperative given a viral online report on allegations that the graduates are been denied their certificates after graduation.
Saliu explained that the management never refused to give the graduates their certificates but had technical issues in getting the certificates ready.
He however added that the management made concerted efforts to redeem the situation by reaching out to the licencing boards to plead on behalf of the graduates.
He further assures its graduates that the University of Ibadan would never impede their progress.
Saliu said: “The attention of the University of Ibadan Management was drawn to an online report that went viral.
“Management hereby states that it did not refuse to give the graduates of Medicine and Surgery and Dentistry their certificates but had technical issues in getting the certificates ready.
“Concerted efforts were made to redeem the situation while the management reached out to the licencing boards to plead on behalf of the graduates.
He further assures its graduates that the University of Ibadan would never impede their progress.
Saliu said: “The attention of the University of Ibadan Management was drawn to an online report that went viral.
“Management hereby states that it did not refuse to give the graduates of Medicine and Surgery and Dentistry their certificates but had technical issues in getting the certificates ready.
“Concerted efforts were made to redeem the situation while the management reached out to the licencing boards to plead on behalf of the graduates.
“Management is pleased to inform the affected graduates that the certificates are now ready for collection.
“Management assures its teeming graduates that the University of Ibadan would never impede their progress.
“Management appreciates the cooperation of the licencing board and the concern of all stakeholders.”
