Cabinet: Bianca Ojukwu, Jumoke, five other new ministers to be sworn in Monday
Barring any last-minute change, President Bola Tinubu will on Monday swear in seven new ministers.
The swearing-in will take place at the Council Chamber of the State House, Abuja.
Disclosing this via X, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, wrote: “President Bola Tinubu will swear in the new seven ministers tomorrow Monday.
“The ministers are Dr Nentawe Yilwatda – Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; Muhammadu Dingyadi – Minister of Labour and Employment; Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu – Minister of State Foreign Affairs.
“Others are Dr Jumoke Oduwole – Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment (Trade and Investment), Idi Maiha – Minister of Livestock Development; Yusuf Ata – Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development; and Dr Suwaiba Ahmad – Minister of State Education.
“The Senate cleared the ministers last week.”
On October 23, Tinubu had reassigned 10 ministers to new ministerial portfolios, discharged five others and nominated seven new ministers.
On October 31, 2024, the Senate confirmed all seven nominees after screening each.
