Adeleke, Oyetola besiege Supreme Court for verdict on Osun Gov dispute

upporters of Osun Governor Senator Ademola Adeleke and his immediate predecessor, Adegboyega Oyetola have besieged the premises of the Supreme Court in anticipation of the judgment scheduled for 2pm.

The court is expected to deliver judgement in the appeal by Oyetola, seeking the reversal of the March 25 judgment of the Court of Appeal in Abuja which affirmed Adeleke’s victory in the last governorship election in Osun State.

The Appeal Court, in its judgement, set aside an earlier judgment by the Osun Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, which held in favour of Oyetola and sacked Adeleke.
