Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, says the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has nullified the declaration which returned Aishatu Dahiru (Binani) as Adamawa governor-elect.
Keyamo, who made this known in a tweet on his verified Twitter handle on Sunday, said the collation of the Adamawa governorship election results has also been suspended.
He said : “Update: following the earlier reports by the media of Binani’s declaration, I have just been informed of the position of INEC nullifying (for now) the declaration and suspending the collation process. We will therefore await further action by INEC.”
