Gunmen have kidnapped the wife and two children of Lawal Ayanshola Soliu, the lawmaker representing Ipaiye/Malete/Olooru of Moro Local Government area in the Kwara State House of Assembly.
The abductors reportedly stormed the lawmaker’s residence around 1 am on Monday, shooting sporadically into the air before whisking the victims away.
Their whereabouts remained unknown as of the time of filing this report.
Confirming the incident, the Kwara State Police Command spokesperson, Ajayi Okasanmi, said details of the incident are still sketchy.
