UCL: Real Madrid beat Chelsea 2-0 in first leg of quarter-final

Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio scored as holders Real Madrid beat 10-man Chelsea 2-0 in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday.

Benzema tapped in from close range midway through the first half and Asensio squeezed in a second after Ben Chilwell was sent off on the hour in Spain.

Chelsea are expected to bounce back at Stamford Bridge next week if they must qualify for the next round of the tournament in this campaign.

Speaking with News Flash correspondent, Raufu Musliyu, however, pundits are of the opinion that the chances of Chelsea turning down two deficit against a super side like Real Madrid are slim.
